The President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, arrived Accra Monday to pay a one-day official visit to Ghana.

During the visit, President Buhari met
with his Ghanaian counterpart, President John Dramani Mahama.
Buhari was accompanied by the National Security Adviser, Maj. Gen Babagana Monguno (rtd) and several Nigerian officials.
The major of the visit centered on bilateral relations, regional
security, trade and investment and other issues of common interest to Nigeria
and Ghana.
Before returning to Nigeria, President Buhari is expected to have a short meeting with Nigerians mostly entrepreneurs in Ghana.
